Dr. Christopher P. Womack, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Chris Womack is co-owner of Los Caballos Veterinary Clinic. Chris Womack has been with the practice Since 1992. Graduating from vet school at Texas A&M University, Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine, Being in practice for so long has given me a vast knowledge of all different species. I pride myself on providing quality medicine. A passion of mine is herd health and helping clients achieve their ranching goals. I love to get away from town and go to the ranch with my border collie, Lucy. While at the ranch I enjoy improving the genetics of our herd. And did I mention I love cows?
Dr. Stephanie Probandt, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Stephanie Probandt is the Managing DVM of Los Caballos Veterinary Clinic. Stephanie Probandt has been with the practice Since 2015. Graduating vet school from Texas A&M University, Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine, I pride myself on being compassionate and practicing quality veterinary medicine. I find that giving squirty cheese to puppies and kitties during vaccinations, helps them develop a lifelong love of visiting the clinic. I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband and two dogs, Auggie and Maggie. When able to get away from the clinic, I love to travel and read a good book.
Dr. Morgan Bennett-Brown, DVM
Dr. Morgan Bennett-Brown is a recent Colorado State University graduate. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine so far is never knowing what could walk in the door next and connecting with clients. She is very competitive and loves all kinds of sports, riding horses, and spending time with her family.
Diane Womack, Practice Manager
Practice Manager
Diane Womack is the Practice Manager at Los Caballos Veterinary Clinic. Diane Womack has been with the practice since 1992 but full-time since 2014. Having worked with my husband on and off since he began practicing, I have developed relationships and in some cases good friendships with our clients. I take pride in being able to provide great customer service to all who come to see us. When the opportunity presents itself, I enjoy the outdoors and quiet spaces. I also take great joy in taking care of my family, my clinic family included. I’m always up for a trip to the beach or anywhere with my paddle board.
Bonnie, Technician

Bonnie is a Technician at Los Caballos Veterinary Clinic. Binx has been with the practice Since 2016. After graduating from West Texas A&M University, My compassion for all animals helps set both the patient and owner at ease. I pride myself on being able to work with the smallest dog and the largest animal with the same amount of ease. Growing up in a military family gave me a love for travel. I met my husband in college and moved to West Texas. My love for travel has been put on hold so that we are able to manage our livestock business. Coffee helps keep me going!
Callie, Technician/Admin

Callie is a Technician/Admin at Los Caballos Veterinary Clinic. Callie Hooten has been with the practice Since 2014. I went to school in Mertzon and attended Angelo State University, I can draw blood from anything! Growing up on a ranch, I am comfortable working with large animals but I can still win over the fussy dogs and cats. I showed rabbits when I was younger and am now our resident rabbit nail trimmer. I have 2 dogs, Bandit and Riley, that love to play outside. My cat, Sancho is happy to play whenever we are inside. I’m always up for trying any new restaurant in town.
Monique, Technician
Technician
Monique is a Technician at Los Caballos Veterinary Clinic. Monique Ibarra has been with the practice Since 2020. I went to school at Cedar Valley College, I pride myself on helping to ensure that the lives of our patients are as long and healthy as they can be. I love educating clients and helping answer any questions they may have. I love taking care of the zoo I have at home! Gaming, drawing, and painting help relax me after a long day at work. Baking is also something I love to do when I have time.

Shelby is a Receptionist/Technician at Los Caballos Veterinary Clinic. Shelby Henley has been with the practice Since 2020. I went to school at Angelo State University, I pride myself on taking care of patients effectively and efficiently. Communicating with clients about the proper care of their animals makes me happy. I enjoy photography and have been super excited to take a lot of the pictures on our website. I also enjoy crocheting, puzzles, and spending time with my pets. Heard any good crime podcasts lately?
Rita, Technician

Rita joined Los Caballos in August 2021. Rita attended Angelo State University. Rita takes pride in her ability to listen to clients’ concerns and empathize with them. Over the past year, Rita has gained experience working with large animals. After working with clients, both large and small animals, Rita feels like she is much better prepared to achieve her goal of becoming a veterinarian.
Rita and her fiance live on a ranch, so free time is hard to come by! However, when Rita is not handling the ranch or working with clients at Los Caballos, Rita enjoys going out with friends, playing putt-putt, and ax throwing.
Maddy, Technician

Maddy joined Los Caballos in 2023. Maddy has spent a year at Los Caballos Vet Clinic. She takes pride in creating a home away from home where she can shower our patients with love and care. Maddy enjoys engaging with them, sharing jokes, and building connections with both the patients and their pets.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two children, painting, gardening, and photography. I have two dogs and two Sphinx cats.
Alexis, Receptionist
Receptionist
Alexis is a Receptionist at Los Caballos Veterinary Clinic. Alexis Lara has been with the practice Since 2018. I went to school in San Angelo and attended Howard College, As the first person our customer sees, I pride myself on being upbeat and friendly. Remembering people’s names and pets helps them feel at home. When not at the office, I love working in my new home and enjoy drawing, painting, and making blankets.

Binx is Assistant Cat in Charge at Los Caballos Veterinary Clinic. Binx has been with the practice Since 2017. Graduated from the School of Street Crossing, Being 3-legged, I am a visual aid for clients coming to terms with a potential amputation for their pet. Roll in the caleche to transform myself from a beautiful black cat into a dusty shade of gray.
