Cosequin ASU® is a comprehensive joint health supplement.

Cosequin ASU®

Cosequin ASU® goes above and beyond the traditional glucosamine/chondroitin sulfate products on the market. Cosequin ASU contains NMX1000® avocado/soybean unsaponifiables (ASU) formulated with FCHG49® glucosamine hydrochloride and TRH122® low molecular weight chondroitin sulfate. Plus the addition of high purity MSM! This sets Cosequin ASU® apart from any other joint health supplement for horses. And all in a tasty, easy to administer powder!

Cosequin ASU® is a dual synergistic formula: its specific glucosamine hydrochloride and low molecular weight chondroitin sulfate have demonstrated synergy in stimulating cartilage production,1 while ASU also acts synergistically with glucosamine.

Cosequin ASU® contains the ingredient ASU along with optimal amounts of glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate that your horse needs. ASU works along with glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate to support your horse's joints. In fact, the combination of glucosamine /chondroitin sulfate plus ASU has been shown to work better than glucosamine/chondroitin sulfate alone in cartilage cell studies!

SmartEnergy® is ideal for horses that lack stamina, are lethargic or are easily fatigued.

SmartEnergy®

SmartEnergy® is ideal for horses that lack stamina, are lethargic or are easily fatigued. These horses may have anemia — an insufficient level of red blood cells. While many other energy supplements are focused on providing iron, feeding extra iron has not been shown to improve red blood cell count or athletic ability, and veterinarians agree that iron is rarely deficient in a horse’s diet. SmartEnergy offers a smarter solution by providing a range of nutritional building blocks required for the production of healthy red blood cells, without added iron.

EQUI-PHAR ButePaste

EQUI-PHAR ButePaste is indicated for the relief of inflammatory conditions associated with the musculoskeletal system in horses. ButePaste is a synthetic, nonhormonal anti-inflammatory, antipyretic compound useful in the management of inflammatory conditions. The apparent analgesic effect is probably related mainly to the compound’s anti-inflammatory properties.

Neigh-Lox® Supplement contains omega-3 fatty acids.

Neigh-Lox®

Neigh-Lox® supports normal digestive function in all horses.

Gastric ulceration is a widespread clinical finding among foals and performance horses. Prevalence of gastric ulcer damage has been documented in 93% of horses in race training and in nearly 60% of other performance horses. Even backyard horses have been shown to be at risk. For this reason, there has been much discussion recently in the equine industry about methods to support and maintain normal digestive function in horses.

SUCCEED® is your secret weapon for equine digestive health.

SUCCEED®

SUCCEED® is your secret weapon for equine digestive health. Its unique blending of natural ingredients promotes a healthier digestive process, despite a lifestyle that can be a hindrance.

If your horse is living with any of the following lifestyles, then it’s likely that your horse can benefit from the specialized nutrients in SUCCEED® Digestive Conditioning Program®:

  • Confined to a stall 6 or more hours per day
  • Exercised regularly, especially rigorously
  • Travels to events or shows once per month or more
  • Fed two or three times per day
  • Turned out less than 18 hours per day
  • Used as a stallion or brood mare
  • Fed concentrates such as processed grain, pellets, or sweet feed
  • Foals during the stresses of weaning

All of this, while inherent in modern horse management and sometimes necessary for performance horses, works against the natural function of the horse’s digestive tract. And digestive imbalance can keep any horse from being truly healthy and the performance horse from being as successful as it can be.

Farrier's Formula®

Farrier's Formula®

Farrier's Formula® provides the nutrient support that horses need to build strong connective tissue proteins. Connective tissue proteins are the microscopic framework of the mammalian body, giving form and strength to all major organs and tissues. Of all the protein in the body over 40% is connective tissue protein, making it by far the most abundant.

Connective tissue proteins combine to form fibers which may crosslink with adjacent fibers. The joined fibers' strength is dependent on the number of crosslinks. These crosslinks are chemically expensive for the body to produce. If the right chemicals in the form of nutrients from the diet are not present, fewer crosslinks can be made; the tissue being constructed or repaired will be weaker.

The hoof is connective tissue that depends on its many crosslinks for strength and resiliency. Thus, a strong healthy hoof can only be built through proper nutrition.

What our clients say

"I've tried many different vets in San Angelo and this is the only one I trust my pets with, they are caring yet professional and very affordable as well. I recommend them to anyone!"

- Kelseyluvsyou2 03/01/2010

"I live in Houston, but was in San Angelo visiting family. I had been told that my dog needed surgery to correct a clogged anal gland (gross, I know). My dog had already been on antibiotics. My mother-in-law suggested I take my dog to her vet, Dr. Womack. Dr. Womack told me my dog needed antibiotics. I told him she had already been on them, but they had not helped. He assured me that she needed to take more and stay on them longer. He said he did not believe that my dog needed surgery, but she just had a nasty infection. He was totally right!!! After 3 weeks she was fine. He is an excellent and very experienced vet, and I believe he had my pet's best interest at heart. We need more vets like him!"
